What I could get
At the time I got 500 of these was almost impossible to find any 22 ammo. Have always fired great in my rifle. But now trying longer ranges they drop like a lead balloon. Dead on at 125 can't hit a 15" plate at 225. Btw I shoot 800 yards easy with my 308, so ain't me just missing.

Best grouping ammo I've found in 22 wmr
Do not fall for the "fast expanding b.s." as I have never found a poly tipped 22 wmr bullet that expands at all unless you shoot a steel plate , none of these bullets expands in this design/caliber. I've done a lot of research and this bullet it the Hornady V MAX "same exact thing" definitely seem to be what most rifles fire the best in reviews. Due to the b.s About it being fast expansion I held it to 4 stars.

Smokey
My Marlin 25MN loves these, the hornady load with the same bullet will shoot 1.5-2" 5-shot groups at 100yrds, this CCI load with the same bullet and advertised velocity will easily shoot 0.75" groups at 100yrds, idk what CCI does different but my marlin sure shows something ain't the same.

22 WMR
I’ve been shooting these since CCI came out with them , I shot prairie dogs professionally for 45 years and was totally hooked on the little 30 gr tipped bullets out to 150-175 yards they were spectacular ! When I needed a break from my centerfire dog guns I would get out my old Marlin 782 in 22 mag , my walking prairie dog gun ! Excellent short range round !
